Crew captain Gosia Wawrzak
'01 has been named Colgate's Jack Mitchell Award winner for 2001 as the
senior varsity athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average.
A double major in International Relations and Economics from Bolingbrook,
Illinois, Gosia
has earned a cumulative gpa of 3.94
during her time at Colgate. She was elected
to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society last fall.
This spring Gosia is moving up from the stroke seat
of the second varsity 8 where she has been undefeated for two years to the
two seat of the first varsity 8.
