The Colgate Boathouse is located on Lake Moraine, a small reservoir
three miles from campus and houses shells for both the women's and
men's crews. The Crew Land Training Facility
in Huntington Gym has 16 Concept II Model C ergs, a double-sided Gamut ergometer,

Racing
In the Fall season Colgate competes in a number of Head Races in
order to get an early taste of competition and to catch a glimpse of
the opposition. The team's fall schedule regularly includes the Head

the Head of the
Schuylkill Regatta, and the Stonehurst-Capital Invitational Regatta.
Winter land-based training and a trip South to row during
spring break in March prepare the crews for a spring season that
culminates with a series of championship regattas, including the Patriot League
Championship Regatta, the New York State Collegiate Rowing
Championships, the Avaya Collegiate Championship and
the IRA National Championship Regatta.
